No, it's not a stretch, this has been one of my biggest fears about Shenmue III... it being a dialogue and QTE-heavy borefest.

This moment is why I hated the lack of dub in the Dreamcast version. It was an extremely all shot scene, imo, and very atmospheric. I was tryna take the whole thing in, and was barely paying attention to the subtitles. "Yeah, yeah, three blades, heard it all before... There has to be a QTE coming up... Ha! Knew it. Wait... What?
