Hmmmm well, nice to wake up with a hangover and a big bunch o messages to find out whats going on.

Well firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who voted for me! I have never really won anything in these awards, even when i was hosting them, so this is very much of a surprise! I haven't even been a regular poster here in about 2 months now with travelling, so again that contributes to the whole surprise of it all! But well, its not been an easy year, but we are still standing and moving forward. We did have some more little bits of Shenmue related news in the media, and the Dojo continues to be headed on the best course possible by our great leader.

So anyways, it turns out i win something for this, and as you guys know, i am not one for accepting awards, prizes, free stuff, charity etc. Its just not in my nature to do so. Besides i don't have a games console right now to buy anything on. (though i move into a new apartment tomorrow which has a Gamecube, so if anyone can snag me Ocarina of Time for $20, then deal!).
So, Spokes PM'ed me about it, and obviously if i don't accept the award, it then goes to whoever came second in the best members category. The only other alternative i suggested, was that i could personally pick who to give it to, if i didn't want it, and that was Miles Prower. The reason for this is because he did a hell of a lot of work putting together that Shenmue II directory. I mean A LOT of work was needed for that. I should know, i tried to do it for a while and it was too much even for me. Anyone who owns the Shenmue II Perfect Guidebook will tell you the exact same thing. To get over 700 characters translated, scanned, typed out and uploaded is unreal, so hats off to him for that, and if it were up to me, i would give him the prize for that. Either him, or Ziming for his Youtube work.

But that's just an idea, and like i said, its as clear as glass that since i am not accepting the prize, it then goes to the person who has came in second place. I don't even know why there's any debate about that.
