Is this not a troll topic? This clown was around during the Kickstarter, trying to get people to buy him a donation. Thought he was banned to be honest.

Although if anyone feels the game is either I personally would think that they're just looking for reasons to be offended.

Precisely. They're actively seeking to be angry/offended because they want something to be upset about so they can blame everything/everyone but themselves as the cause of their problems, so they look here, there, and everywhere for the sweet nectar that is something to be offended about, and when they can't find something 'solid' they start to cherry-pick, misrepresent, and create their own interpretations based on their own warped views (all of which can be refuted effortlessly because they neither hold water nor contain any evidence), all while using the argument of 'well, of course you wouldn't understand!' as their defence. It's utterly laughable, sad, and pathetic.

That's why people like Anita Sarkeesian are laughed at by the logical and educated, and praised by the lunatics.

This! =D>

My spidey sense started to tingle as soon as the dude mentioned Chai being homosexual ( ), but the topic started to gain traction and a valid discussion arose, so it's all good, I guess.

The attempted trolling fell flat.

The chinese stereotype in the middle of china is fucking hilarious, that's the fucking joke.

On a serious note, Shenmue is deep into ablebodied shaming.

How is Shenmue homophobic? Ryo is clearly a gay icon, with his BFF Nozomi carry on, and not taking Joy up to room 203 of the Come Over Guest House to smash her pie in.

Oh, and do we even need to bring up the whole sailors and getting sweaty malarkey?

Peter's comment is humorous...

You don't need to be gay in order to miss opportunities with the ladies.
Basically, if you're shy enough, wholly absorbed by your daily obsession and bad enough at reading the ladies "signs", you'll make love to your hand on a regular basis.

True story

Id say skins post was also sarcasm Kiske. It would be pretty hypocritical of he was being serious considering his contributions over the past few weeks have been videos of women jiggling their tits and arses in Random Thoughts.

I'm going to start an online petition to have body shaming placed somewhere between rape, slavery, human trafficking, and ISIS.

WHO'S WITH ME?!

I'm lgbt and I have no idea what you're talking about. In fact, I find Dou Niu and Yuan's relationship great because no one questions it. It's treated as something pretty normal and a total side thing for both of the characters beyond their portrayals as antagonists. In fact, I'd say they're the first positive lgbt couple I can think I ever experienced in a game and I still think they're an overall positive representation. Did we play the same game?

Forgive me, I'm a little tipsy, listening to third strike's soundtrack.

Yes fool we're playing the same game. I've been playing Shenmue since I was 10 on the dreamcast back in 01.

My point was why did they have to be villains and work for the Chiyomen?

Also why the fuck was Yuan censored in the North American release? Smh.

Who cares if they're villains? There can't be lgbt villains? Why exactly? Aren't we people as well? Which naturally means a wide range of views?

As for the NA version, they censored it because they didn't find it appropriate. Who cares? The European and JP versions still exist.

Who gives a fuck about any of this? Are you trolling?

The male voice was changed to a females for the Dreamcast's European release too.
I think the Japanese version is the only one that has the original male voice.

For the same reason Dubois from Deep Fear is homosexual, but works for the good guys. Shit happens.
