I couldn't find any info anywhere. Google was no help.

Sorry jalvarez, it's a mock-up. But I really like the idea of it being real. Maybe we just haven't bought enough capsule toys yet...

that is definitely fake or a mod.

Fenix I forgot about the passport animal stuff!

Can you get them by action replay or does it have to be save editing?

Edit: changed my mind, this is getting too silly

Yes, it's a fake. Just a bit of fun.

I know they're available with a save editor but no idea about the action replay.

You were able to have pigeons, dolphins, cats, dogs etc by changing them with special rare capsule toys inside the game like "2 darts machine = 1 dolphin". I never had one.

 it's all good, man. I got a good chuckle out of it.

I just spent over $3,000 at that machine.....and nothing.

Say it's fake. Why would they even have that kid mention it in the game? Only causes high hopes for me!

Oooooh.. I got the top prize today at the Tomato thanks to a winning can! I chose the Red boombox "cassette player". Woke up the next morning to find it on my dresser, and played some tunes. Awesome. First time I've ever got this item. :D

Holy shit! I won the 1st prize stereo twice at the Tomato this morning. Both in one day in the game! Crazy luck

Has anyone else won it three times and chosen a different color each time (to have black, red and silver)? I'm wondering where the others went because I went back to the house and into my room right after and I only see the last one I won (black). Maybe they're somewhere else around the house..

^ I believe that it actually just "replaces" your previous stereo. Think of it as an upgrade lol.

Yup. It does, indeed. I can't the other ones anywhere. Well, I've never won any of the stereos before, so I'm hoping that maybe this will trigger something later on in the game (highly doubtful).

got the grey cat "tama" from online passeport a few days before it was closed. (VS Cherry I think) It was my favorite.
When I saw the cat in animals toys on S2 I was very disapointed, as the suits grey and orange man figure wasn't there.
Unlike S1, They've could put the scene with him on japanese restaurants too.
I Never got the 1st prize in abe store though.

The funny little Sega console toys are definately the rarest you can get from the capsule toy machines.

But they aren't nearly as hard to get as the certificates from the arcade. These are entirely skill based as you need to finish a game to get one. While this is pretty achievable with Hang On (got it with a turbo controller on slow) it's almost impossible to get these on the QTE machines. I have the japanese EB World Guidance Guide and that has the entire command lists for those two machines wich are both an insane 1000 inputs long. But even when looking at that the entire mini game you'll likely never make it as it takes ages and it wears on your eyes and concentration so you're gonna make a mistake sooner or later and destroy the flow.
