Shenmue Arcade Re-release

So, I want to beat a dead horse a bit, but what do you think guys Sega's hold up is on releasing a port of Dreamcast for arcade download. I mean with a slew of recent Dreamcast re-release, I don't understand what the hold up is. I don't think anyone is expecting them to redo the graphics or anything, tho that would be nice, but there have been plenty of straight lazy ports, why not Shenmue.


Is it because they are unsure what they want to do with the franchise, that they want to wait until its more strategic re-release?

I think yes, they could be holding it back for a strategic time. It would certainly make sense and sell a million times better if Shenmue 3 was announced and on its way to then hype up that game with the originals.
But on the other end it makes zero sense not to use it as a gauge for demand for the series that way they can decide to finally make 3.
Its frustrating. Just give the fans what they want and money will come pouring in for them. Doesnt make sense.
