Reicast Warehouse 8 Crash

So the HD remaster news got me hyped to the point I couldn't wait to play these again, so I grabbed reicast (R7) on my phone and downloaded Shenmue 1. Works great, other than some graphical bugs. However, I'm on disc 3, and the game crashes when I try to enter warehouse 8 after the 5th day of work. Since it's required to continue the story, I'd very much like to find a solution to this.
I tried looking via Google, but other than acknowledgment of the issue I wasn't able to find an actual solution. Since people here have figured out how to play the game in its entirety on pretty much everything under the sun, I'm hoping someone here can help me out.
