I've watched and read it a few times but it's simply great stuff. His reactions clearly show how he feels about it all too. Very cool. And he's overwhelmed by the attention even raising his arms in the air at one point, haha. Recognition like this can mean more to an artist at that particular time than material gains. Not saying that it makes a difference for a continuation but I'm sure that it had some personal impact on him.
And is it just me or did he seem much more enthusiastic compared to his Shenmue Online presentations/interviews? Already back then it sometimes felt as if he didn't really want to be there or didn't care as much about the product.
