Is "$10 on the 10th" a thing? Are we doing this?

I saw someone mention this. Is this the new movement? I'm always looking for the next movement to take part in. As I keep saying, someone point me in the right direction and I'll promote it everywhere I can and take part as fully as possible. Are we doing this? Or was it just another off hand idea someone had?

Hmm. Well... I'll promote it anyway just in case it catches on. I encourage others to do the same. If even a hundred of us do it, that's a grand. Screw it. Every little bit helps. Also someone is apparently trying to organize another #SaveShenmue tweet-a-thon on July 15th. I'm down for that, too.
It seems like we don't have any real organized plan for right now, so I'm basically just trying anything and everything. IF ANYONE DETECTS A NEW MOVEMENT FORMING, PLEASE TELL ME here or by PM. I want to be part of it! Save Shenmue.

Don't believe it will work. Most will be maxed out already (after the very successful 3rd) and others will want to wait for the final 48 hours. The 3rd was brilliant for having it's history as Shenmue day and being exactly mid-campaign.
Now it's really up to AJ. They have delivered in bringing some cool rewards for every range. Now it's time to bring some more exiting content. I'm happy to see Cedric retweeted about someone asking for the new video. That can bring in some new blood.

Honestly, I fear Shenmue simply has too niche an appeal to reach a wider audience no matter what they do. It really may BE entirely up to us.
It probably won't catch on, but I'm going to promote the hell out of #10onthe10th. It's better than doing nothing and just waiting it out, imo. Even if I'm the only one who does it... as someone pointed out to me, that's lunch for a dev one day at least lol. Every little bit helps.
God I want so badly for this game to be more well funded.

I will probably stick down another 10 on the 10th as I'm at $190 right now so rounds it up nice.
Then on the final day, we will see how I feel about another wee increase
