A hyuuuuuge thanks to every single fan who tweeted and retweeted the hashtag during yesterday's #SaveShenmueHD Tweetathon!
The next event is scheduled for November 22nd and... oh, come on - you know full well by now that it's the 3rd of every month. It's tattooed on the brains of us all, beside our date of birth and where we were when we heard about Shenmue III - which, by the way, can be pre-ordered at
shenmue.link/order along with a host of cool rewards.
As you may also be aware, the campaign for Shenmue HD is at a critical juncture, with Ys Net's record-breaking new sequel approaching the half-way point of its projected development period and Sega STILL humming and harring over licensed products before they'll commit to bringing the first two games to modern platforms.
It really is crunch time if we want to see new fans given the chance to experience the series from the beginning in time to influence the sales figures on which Shenmue III will be judged. To maximize the likelihood of Shenmue IV being commissioned, the saga's revival needs to kick more ass on the high street than Xiuying Hong, and that means Sega doing their part without further delay.
So join us on November 3rd for the next Tweetathon and make it known that after fifteen years of passing the buck, it's time for Sega to back up their words with confirmed action before it's too late.
If you haven't yet done so, you can pre-load a monthly Tweetathon message for automatic release at
