I've looked into Lucky Shot 3D and the reviews sound mixed. Still, I'll check it out!

I didn't play the game, or even own a Dreamcast until way after it was commercially relevant. I kept seeing all of these reviews and videos about Shenmue. Seeing all the love people have for Shenmue convinced me to pick up a Dreamcast and the game. I popped in the GD-ROM and the first cutscene start...

This is actually pretty interesting. I was aware that training moves increased your proficiency in them... but I had no idea that when you switch discs you get better. Is the change very substantial? Because training every move separately is kind of a pain

^ It really is a good trailer. The Xbox Live trailer that's included on the disc is also pretty funny. I never really thought about it, but the audio clips that they use in this sounds better then in the actual game. I'm not sure what it is, but the dub in Shenmue II on the Xbox sounds... grimy I gu...

I don't know that I can see the story going stateside. The story of Shenmue is very closely tied to Asia in terms of it's mythology so I don't know that they'll leave Asia. Shenmue actually is fairly comforting.
