I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this. The original was such a great game that I worry that they'll ruin it by letting things be said which should be left unsaid, for example. The problem is, once I'm into a series (game or TV etc), if they follow on, I'm in it for the long haul, no matter how...
I'm almost certain that if we ever do get the HD remasters, they almost certainly won't be either widescreen or have any of these post-processing effects turned on. Two things that are obviously quite easy for them to add. :(
Thanks. That's what I thought, but just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going against the received wisdom.
My current Windows machine is a POS, so I'll need to buy a new one before S3 comes out anyway. At least now I know that I can't be cheap when spec-ing it out.

It would be fun having online features. But considering the limited budget ysnet has available, it would be better to just focus on the core game, in my opinion. I completely agree. There are a lot of possibilities where online features could complement the existing gameplay - but I'd much rather t...
I think people have a tendency to request too much/features that are hard to implement. We don't want Sega to fuck it up and we don't want a game that's going to cost them much to port. Let's keep it simple, an emulator-wrapped port to PC/PS4, that runs at 1080p (or more) in widescreen is really all...
I support having Rueben Kee's relfections during the credits/at some point in the game. A message in the credits dedicating the game to "the fans who are no longer with us" (not necessarily names) - perhaps at the point when the music starts - would be very thoughtful too. This is one of t...
Trial version so far - thinking of getting the art book and sort of debating getting the collectors pack with the soundtrack as well, but not sure it's worth the extra $75 to me - especially since I'm incredibly short of cash right now and could get another physical copy for that price.
I have now asked. I just thought I'd check here to see if anyone had any idea before I bothered Ys Net (figured they have a lot on and must get a lot of messages about the same thing).
I'm asking here on the off chance that somebody already knows/has asked the answer.
Does anyone have any idea if the kickstarter rewards that contain the original soundtrack mean the soundtrack to the first game, or a new one specifically for S3?
Riku Rose wrote: Since they pretty much copy and pasted the topic I made I think it's safe too say I've done more for this Kickstarter then Awesome Japan and I haven't even pledged.
Are you planning on pledging? If not, do you mind if I ask why? I'm curious.
It's a dangerous game they're playing by repeating these rewards. I can't afford that kind of backing, but I can understand why people might feel like their reward is being cheapened. It's kind of bad practice to offer something as a limited number (and people pledge on the basis of that number) - a...
Over 50,000 backers is almost as significant I reckon... Anyone know how many backers bloodstained had? 64,867 Hmm... That's gonna be a toughie to beat! Everyone make a second account and donate $5 :P It might just get to that with 2 days to go! :D I'm in If it comes to that - sure. I'm in. I think...
