Now THAT it Shenmue III. Jesus I can't wait for this game to drop!

I’m not into developing , I know almost nothing about it, but do you guys think it would be possible for them to apply some sort of graphic filter? Something like 2-3 types of filter we can select + the original look. I’m saying this because I can see that a lot of pixels are still very low quality...

Maybe this is in the game, but I just wish there was a high score list for the mini games like QTE title. I think those were recorded and uploaded on the passport disc. Either way, it's not a deal breaker. I'm just glad to play these games again and go through the achievements.

I don't care about 4:3, 16:9 , letterboxes, HD, SD or any of that. I'm just glad that I can finally play Shenmue again and that Sega answered my lifelong dream of playing Shenmue I with some bloom on my TV. Life is good.

Hopefully the voice quality audio is uncompressed. That's been a concern of mine too.


Also too, Shenmue I doesn't have enough bloom. Hopefully YS blooms the shit outta Shenmue III once we leave the cave!

Is this available for Preorder on PSN? I'm going to get the physical copies, but in the USA it's highly doubtful there are any stores that will be selling this at midnight. To my knowledge the only way to start playing these at midnight is to preorder the digital version.

My prediction is that the release date gets announced at PSX 2018 but we'll see.

Pre-order figures haven't been made public and likely won't be. All we have to go on is the strong performance we've seen in the Amazon charts. It really depends on how much of a mindfuck the inevitable cliffhanger to Shenmue III is. In an ideal world, Sega would give Yu the go ahead to start on Shenmue IV shortly after III is done.

I wonder what phase of development the game is in at this moment. It's real difficult to say. If I had to guess it looks like it's in the function testing phase at this point.

It's funny how time can change your perception on things. When this was in development I was absolutely against playing this and wanted no part of it. I was still bitter that we had no Shenmue III.
