Any progress yet on completely getting rid of x-axis culling on the widescreen edges? The videos still show some culling so far, as do they when I've tried it with Null DC cheater. Why actually 720x480? Does is have something to do with the correct streching ratio when you use this on TVs? Because 480p with proper 16:9 aspect ratio actually has a resolution of 854x480. Small update... The original widescreen codes actually added twice as much width to the screen as they should have. I did some verification tonight, and it turns out that the address being patched is not part of the executable as previously suggested. The contents of memory in the area being modified doesn't come close to matching anything in 1ST_READ.BIN. I'm still going to look into actual patching of the games...
