Re: Time for Ryudo to retire

Nope. Oscar Wilde said, "Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth." The truth is, I am Kiba pretending to be a nobody in the "real" world, like Batman pretends to be Bruce Wayne. I always interpreted that in the contex...

Re: Time for Ryudo to retire

I must be the only person in this forum who does not get these "persona changes" of yours, people.
One is who one is, and the more we try to escape that, the more we collide with ourselves. Better accept the ever-moving, ever-changing chain of needs, attitudes and ambitions.

Re: Which web browser do you use?

Hate IE9. IE9 still has the most security issues. Not necessarily. In fact, one of its most praised points are its security and privacy options. IE9 is, to me, good for a simple reason: it is effective, and it's not as crash-prone as FF, Chrome or even Opera. It does. Every year the convention to s...

Re: Which web browser do you use?

Still rocking Opera, but slowly leaning towards IE9. AAAAAAAaaaaaaaannnnnd I just lost the respect of every single person here. Not that I had it to begin with. But if you will, hear me out for a second: I don't use extensions. I find them a waste. I don't do anything complex enough to require it. T...

Re: Do you care about thumbs up rep?

I usually forget they even exist. I think that, if you want people to value them more, have an unobtrusive notification pop-up saying when you got thanks for something, and what it was.
That will encourage people to give thanks back, passing it forward, I believe.

Re: So my apt buildng caught fire

The important thing is that you're OK, and you live for another day. Hopefully, your cat as well. Cats are usually quite cunning.
