The problem with that game is that don't know what it tries to be, doesn't have a personality, the story and design are meh, but the gameplay is quite solid and variate.
I'm talking about a simple game engine, even fuck, a good level maker, simple character creation, then you can rip off most of the other engines that are easy to use.
