Re: How Ryo Hazuki came to Hong Kong to be stuck on Lucky Hi

I looked up on the in-game cock and it was way past 12 AM. I hope this was a somewhat enjoyable read xP Yes, it was entertaining somewhat. ;-) But in all seriousness I have never encountered this glitch before and it sounds pretty crazy. I have only experienced a few glitches in Shenmue II , the la...

I only skimmed through the videos as I currently don't have audio on my pc (awaiting a fix) but that don't look bad at all. Will give it a thorough viewing when my sound has been restored. Good stuff.

I have two copies of Shenmue , one sealed and one open. To say that the open one has seen some wear and tear is an understatement, as it is the only copy I have ever played over the years. And it was second hand to begin with. A couple of the discs have a lot of surface marks and scratches but the o...

I try to play each game at least once a year but it can't always be done as they are quite lengthy. Also, I have been spending a bit of time on Xbox Live lately. I work, have a girlfriend, run a website and forum, all of which consume hours like Rik Waller consumes pies. But I did manage to play the...

Same here, won the boombox twice on my last playthough. I picked black both times. ;-) I don't think there is a special prize that I haven't won, but the Dural Gold at the Abe Store is an utter nightmare. Think I only ever got that sucker once. The top prize in any raffle is something like 1 in 400 ...

It's sad that he's gone and all that claptrap but name one mighty film that he ever starred in other than Uncommon Valor and Point Break, both of which are far from mighty. Roadhouse was okay I 'spose.

I guess it's out of him and Jacko who gets to pull the baby out of the corner. ;)

Re: Alcoholics Dojononymous

Anyone else here an alcoholic? 'Alcoholic' is such a strong word. To me it's someone who is in the grip of alcohol addiction and cannot quit. On average I drink two or three days a week and on each of those days I plough through a good bottle of bourbon and a six pack of 5% beer. But if I was told ...

For me the Yellow Head Building mission was a great ride yesterday but by the time I reached the 13th floor it was beginning to get on my nerves a bit. Still the rooftop scene is utterly breathtaking. Btw, is it just me or is the Dou Niu battle a piece of piss? I only messed up the first time becaus...

Yellow Head Building Poll

Just finished Shenmue II for the umpteenth time and felt like making a poll. It's no secret that the Yellow Head Building mission takes a hefty bit of time to finish. Is it a top conclusion to the Kowloon level or is it a pain in the ass to wade through?

Ryo could say farewell to just about a whole lot of people even those of secondary importance, such as Master Zhoushan's guards... Did not know that at all. Edit: Went back to an old save at the Beverly Hills Wharf from June 2008. Said the goodbyes about half an hour ago and the guards do r...

There was an Xbox demo, just in case anyone is interested :P Yeah, I still got that. It's everything from the beginning of the game until Queen's Street - once you go there it ends. I think the Free Stay Lodge is closed but I can't be sure. Me and the pals used to play that demo over and over. http...

TBH, Kurt got the grunge thing from other bands like The Melvins and Mudhoney ('specially Mudhoney). As it happens, Nirvana formed about a year and a half before Mudhoney. I agree with The Melvins though - everyone ripped those off. Oh boo hoo I hate life BOOM HEADSHOT...fuck him. So by this little...
