Re: What TV series are you watching?

I'm watching a few right now. I'm watching Designated Survivor, I think that is a surprisingly excellent show. Maggie Q is pretty good in it, though the last thing I watched with her in it was Nikita (which I also enjoyed lot), so keep expecting her to be better at fighting than she is in Designate...

Re: Politics

I'm don't hate tories as much as most people do, but I'm definitely not "fans" of them either. I voted SNP so that's probably closer to "socialist" than most other parties. You can be a socialist dictator too. Colonel Gadaffi was one! In a lot of ways this list makes it sound lik...

Re: Politics

Would the NK people be as motivated as the Afghans and Vietnamese were though? I mean I'm sure his brainwashing is pretty intense, and the fear of their families getting slaughtered if a NK soldier dared surrender to a Chinese or American army looming over them is pretty real, but wouldn't a lot of ...

Re: Politics

So it appears NK is now threatening China with "grave consequences" if they don't stop talking about him! http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/north-korea-china-threat-grave-consequences-neighbours-pyongyang-kim-jong-un-xi-jingping-a7716781.html Talk about biting the hand tha...

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts (Read OP Before Posting)

The Pitioss Dungeon in FFXV. I enjoyed most of FFXV, but this ruins a lot of the goodness for me. Absolute bullshit way to make a dungeon "challenging", wasting my life over and over and over again doing the same fucking thing to get a few metres further than I did last time before falling...

Re: Politics

I'm not sure if I've said it in this topic before, but surely with China quite enjoying their economic superpower status they have currently, the very second that NK threatens that for them, China will simply steamroll NK into oblivion? (ideally BEFORE their nutter of a neighbour has any nukes ready...

Re: Random Thoughts

Meh, I have one too. I find it utterly impossible voodoo black-magic to do it normally.

Nah I'd have known that wasn't you due to the ashtray and rolling machine being there! You'd never do something so wasteful. ;-)

Re: Latest Purchases

Bought an external 1TB drive for my XB1. Probably won't take that long to get it up to 93% also. Also got the missing cables for the PS2 I've still got kicking about. Gonna play FF12 after I've finished FF15, since 12 was a fun game but I never completed it. Like a spaz I somehow managed to get TWO ...

Re: Politics

So you're saying the "Assad finding and using them" bit is most likely true? Or that it's possible the Iraqi dude sold some off before he made a deal with the CIA? I hope you're very correct on the last part too. I do think civilians being massacred is bad, but I also think the world which...

Re: Politics

The talk on the media took me right back to the Iraq war buildup in 2003, so I immediately thought false-flag. Apparently Trump phoned Putin to tell Assad that this attack was gonna take place though? Also, Frozen, since you know a lot about this stuff, I've seen a lot of comments today in reply to ...

Re: Recent Gaming Purchases

Got myself FFXV and popped it into my XB1. Installed the bloody massive disk content (think it was about 44GB) reasonably quickly. Game launches. "This game needs an update! Update size 13.35GB.". :???:  Just been told it needs another update, 7.4GB this time. How about NO!? F...

Re: Random Thoughts

The irony is all the outrage etc. that we're encouraged to feel, yet our wonderful UK politicians will use some of OUR taxes to encourage, train and support other Islamists to go and do exactly the same sort of things in Syria. Hypocritical as fuck!
