^I believe they are called Action RPGs Exactly. And there lies my problem with the genre. Not mutually exclusive concepts. If my character in a rpg is a master at combat, my button mashing skill as a player should be irrelevant to his survival rate. Eh, not the most compelling of arguments. Even ap...
Ryo's style clearly resembles a mix of Judo and traditional karate (such as Goju-Ryu and Shorin-ryu), but as he progresses through his journey he ended up incorporating a number of kung-fu concepts. I believe his ultimate style would be the one Akira Yuki (Virtua Fighter) uses, the Bajiquan (Hakkyok...

I really wanted to love Ni No Kuni but it was just one of those 'meh' games to me. I thought it was beautiful and the towns were amazing at first but about half way into the game no place ever stood out to me again like it did with the town on the docks. I also fucking hated the NPC's who are so de...
Koshiro had very very little to do with the Shenmue soundtrack (do some research). This is a fact and the guys who scored the majority of the soundtrack do not get their due. If this record only has Koshiro's stuff then it would be a very poor album since the orchestral score was done by the other ...
I've been watching the playthrough... I gotta say that's pretty entertaining lol... But they have become very unfocused on the task on each passing section, with barely any of them paying attention to the game.

I thought it was cheesy and awful when I first heard it (and at times depressing... see Nozomi and Ryo's interactions), considering the budget gone for the game. The reason was that I played the Japanese version when it came...
Oh damn... I knew it was too good to be true. They got me as the HOAX is being covered by many game websites. Well now I know at least. Thanks Giorgio!
EDIT: Sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread btw
ShenGCH is right. There is definitely mention of police in Shenmue. It's all really subtle though. Remember there's a 4 days gap between Ryo's dad and when we have control of the character. A lot might have happened.
The prices are definitely sour, and the artwork varies (compare Golden Axe to Streets of Rage lol) ... but all in all, this is still good news. It keeps Shenmue the franchise relevant. Anything to keep the dream alive =)
So here is the newest rumor: http://metro.co.uk/2015/05/20/shenmue-3-planning-e3-reveal-from-sega-and-square-enix-claim-rumours-5206998/ I've been a member for a while, but I never really engaged in the forum section due to me losing hope for the franchise being brought back. Bitterness aside, I gue...
