But to appeal to a new audience - a new generation of gamers for that matter they need to present the past. I don't think this is something they can wait on. I put off playing the Mass Effect Trilogy for 5 years until finally the trilogy including the first game was released on PS3. I'm glad I waited as I didn't want a compromised experience in starting with the 2nd game in the series. But to get this Kickstarter rolling they have to offer the assurance that we'll get that, which as of now, we're not seeing.

I still don't see why Paypal is under consideration, I was expecting it upon signing up to KickStarter for this.

As neat was it is to hear of past ideas returning in Shenmue 3, some I am not so keen on. Forklift driving/racing was fun but I consider that a feature of Shenmue 1, I wan't a new mini-game/job feature which isn't identical to the previou games. Reading that got me all excited though, going to return to more Shenmue 1 right now :)

I'm starting my Shenmue 1 playthrough today! Played through 1 much more than 2 but I am planning to go onto 2 beyond. Having plugged my Dreamcast into my 32' Samsung TV it looks better than I thought, a little murky and soft but not many jaggies!

I hope it happens. I don't want everything the series was meant to be to be compressed into one game. I still want it to flow as intended. So hopefully after Shenmue 3 does get the support it deserves a production company of some sort will realise the potential in it & back Shenmue IV.

That is genuinely all I can afford this month! :-& I'll be scrapping by the next couple of weeks but I feel it will be worth it when I get my next payment at the end of the month to level out my money. I just hope the artbook is full A4 sized and no just the size of the gaming case.

Can't say I approve of this If you beat Shenmue without even reaching Janurary you're really not playing it properly. I love spendinf time with the gaem and embracing the little details the town has to offer.

I never even wantd a REMAKE, all the nuances of Yokosuka would just be lost. I want Shenmue 1 & 2 as they are just with a resolution bump & Widescreen presentation! Heard the controls may be altered, not issues with that.

Something to the equivalent of Final Fantasyx/x-2 & xXII's Remastering would be ideal :)

I'm really hoping the HD Remaster news will help validate the decision for more Slacker Backer input.

We're all expecting this right? I'm not concerned it jsut doesn't seem their that far in development, if anything I'm expecting a 2019 Fall release. I can wait this game just needs to be be good! I think a compensational trailer would help as we still havent seen any direct Gameplay...

I ordered 2x the Blue records, has a lovely print inside and I am thrilled with it! Really hoping that some how the 'Shenmue Orchestra version' could be released on vinyl!

I'm not seeing a big push for this so far, I'm hoping that we can achieve this by the August Deadline.

Yeah, it really doesn't look that much different to me, I barely notice it, but seeing the screen croppped is so jarring especially Shenmue 2's 4:3 Letterbox combo. I saw Adam did anotehr video recently explaining his thoery into why Shenmue 1 is in 4:3 While I don't 100% agree with it there is cetainly no excuse for Shemue 2 as the cutscenes are in widescene presentation boxed by borders anyway - Even the damn trailer they edited this! I'm grateful for many of the tweaks, faster loading and the subtitles look much better but not puttign effort into the cutscenes on a ground breakingly cinematic game simply does not do Shenmue justice.

It has a transparent look to it too which is a bonus :) and the Art Print you get is on solid card. What also suprised me is the high quality of the sleeve the record sits in, not just one of them lousy paper ones most records are in that need replacing. This is a great product and I can safely recommend it to all Shenmu fans into Vinyl.

I got Mania today.., its a great game but the pixalation is a far too rough. The only way I can play it is if I put the Sharpness setting on my TV a minimum.

Hmm, that doesn't sound right dude, it looks amazing on my tv. What platform are you playing it on, and have you tried playing it with the scan line filter that in the settings aswell?

I saw that filter but it just looked lame and ruined the contrast. I showed it to my friend without telling him first, then showed him the difference and he also thought it was a much more bareable option. I'm enjoyin the game though now I habe that way to bypass the roguh visuals :)

I bought the $175 Dollar Artbook initially, but since then I have also added 2 extra copies :), I might even extend to the Collector's Edition with the CD by the end of it if I can afford it. I really want this do succeed and I'm really proud with the community as we reached the 7million stretch goal mark!
