So during my Shenmue 2 playthrough, I managed to unsurprisingly earn $60 from the first attempt at the crate moving job. After that , I decided to have one go at lucky hit to raise my money a bit.

Within minutes, I was back at $0 and this happened about 4 times during Hong Kong. Lucky hit is evil.

Use demon's triangle! Ya know at the end of disc 3 of Shenmue 2, when Xiuying gives you that move that you could never get to use because there are no fights in disc 4. That always felt like such a punch in the face to me. Oh, here's this piece of awesomeness that is in your grasp, but you'll never get to use it. Then again, I never managed to pull off the shadow step in a fight after learning to use it.

So, Yu Suzuki is so determined to make Shenmue feel real that he's even putting tons of effort into the distance between characters when they interact. I think calling Shenmue 3 detailed will be quite the understatement.
