I hope we get more stuff like this. I love when they release these more fleshed out versions played on live instruments. Less tracks with lyrics next time, though.

^^Yeah, the vocals ruin the tracks they're on. Pure cheese. I hate that kind of stuff.
Having said that though, the music itself is beautiful. Makes me want to hit those games up again soon. Chrono Trigger has always been one of those classics that I wish I could have actually played back when it first came out. Would have been an amazing feeling, playing something like that for the first time when it was actually new, not knowing quite what you're getting into. I got to experience that with Chrono Cross (which is excellent), but I would have loved it with Trigger.

On the subject of game music, I just saw on amazon that most of the Assassin's Creed soundtracks are finally coming out on physical cds, which is very cool. I've wished for a while that I could get a physical release of the Revelations soundtrack, but always figured too much time had passed already.
It's still super unlikely, but this gives me a teensy bit of hope that other previously-digital-only game soundtracks might eventually pop up physically, such as the one for Remember Me (one of my favorite OST's of last gen). Would be nice. Looks like the company putting out the AC ones (Sumthing Else Musicworks) actually has the digital Remember Me OST on their site as well, so maybe it's possible.

They're pretty good remasters too, far as I remember. Unfortunately the remaster for Deadlocked (the fourth game) was digital-only, and seems to have been a major rush job (lots of graphical glitches), which is unfortunate because the original release for PS2 doesn't work on a backwards-compatible PS3 (it literally runs in slow-mo). Gotta haul out an old PS2 to play the game properly.
But the first three are great otherwise.
I personally think the main PS3 games were better though. I love the original trilogy, but they really outdid themselves with R&C Future, Quest for Booty, A Crack in Time, and Into the Nexus (still need to finish that one). And even All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault were great little deviations in the series.
Probably one of my favorite series overall, and I'm really glad that they've kept it going this long.

I went to my looking shopping centre thinking that I would buy a used copy of Splatterhouse on Xbox 360 since, I have been in a Splatterhouse mood lately. Unfortunately, the only used copy I could find was disc only which is unacceptable for me. I honestly can't believe they would try and sell a copy of the game that is disc only (for $15 no less...)

I used to see this game everywhere in video game stores brand new/used and I have no idea why I didn't buy it. Even if it isn't the greatest game (from what I've heard) I've always wanted to play it. I seem to have a bad habit of wanted stuff after it disappears like some kind of massive delayed reaction. Oh well, I guess I'll have to resort to eBay.

Yeah lol I've been doing that for years. I laughed when the Steam machines were announced. They are just made to appeal to a different crowd is all. I think some folks will find a good use for them. I will stick to the $8 dollar route. Dark Souls/Skyrim in 1080p with mods, on my 55 inch relaxing on my couch.

I wanna play so many games right now, Yakuza 4 I wanna play, I have had KOTOR in the back of my mind cause of all this star wars about, im anxiously awaiting Tales of Zestiria to come in the mail later this week, waiting for release dates for Trails series, and hoping I can play Xenoblade when it comes out. And actually be able to complete at least most of these games... Its funny I want to play them all and I own 0 of them lol
