Action Replay CDX

I ordered Action Replay CDX for Dreamcast of Amazon so I can cheat in Shenmue with the movelist and such.

I waited 8 days for the damn delivery. A german seller sold it to me and it says tthe action replay cdx is uk version. Says that on the disc too.

I have got it delivered now but only with the CD. Do I need the VMU Black thingy that is originally with it? That didint come with my package, only the CD.

Am I screwed? I cant test this action replay cdx until I get my AV Cable for my dreamcast delivered to me which I also ordered from Amazon.

Moved this over to the General Gaming forum as it's more of a general matter then it has to do with Shenmue.

You need this special VMU for the disc as I recall. It kinda acts like a copy protection so you couldn't just burn the disc. There is a hacked version for download out there, but if you're looking around there I would recommend CodeBreaker more.

Well I need instructions on how to download and make codebreaker work on a disc so if you can give me that....

For an unsourced article? I'm sure there's another reason.
(on that note- anyone know if that DC/Xbox article was true?)

I still have my Game Shark for DC, it also comes with a special VMU and its another great option but im not sure if they ever came out in the UK.
