I hope someone buys up Messiah and does something great with it. Replayed the original pretty recently, and though I think it's still pretty cool on its own merits, it was one of those experiences where, at every turn, I was thinking to myself "Ooh, wouldn't it be cool if they remade it and did THIS, or did THAT..."
So many newer innovations would lend themselves well to the game's concept. Could add up to something amazing if someone took a new stab at it.
As for EWJ, it's one of those IP's that I think is a product of its time, and should remain that way. It was something wonderful back in the day because of the excellent sprite animation and design work, but a new game would almost inevitably have to be 3D, and that wouldn't be interesting at all.
Unless of course someone pulled a Rayman Origins on it...
I also enjoyed Run Like Hell, but again, it was a product of its time. I'm not sure there's any reason to bring it back in any form. Coolest thing about the original anyway, was getting into an action scene and hearing Breaking Benjamin music start blaring.
