AM2 confirms Super Dimensional Fortress Macross for PS2

Postby Zhao » Wed Jul 16, 2003 9:25 pm

Sega-AM2, as we should all know is the internal Sega division responsible for Shenmue and Virtua Fighter and is currently at work on Super Dimensional Fortress Macross, which is an all new PS2 game based off the Macross license which is Robotech here in America. The game is apparently 60-80% percent done, it will also be published by Bandai and not SEGA and is scheduled for September or October in Japan. AM2 is busy, busy, busy.

Awsome. I am probably the biggest Robotech Fan on these forums. But isn't TDK making the robotech games now? The just made Robotech Battlecry(which kicks ass) and are now working on the sequel.

Yeah they are, but AM2 will now have the rights develop the games under the original Japanese name.
