shenmuetree, this is quite boring but.. i remember hearing on tv that counterfeiters have a hard time making details/designs line up on clothes, like the design on either side of the zip on ur jumper.

Still don't even have a PS4, but Amazon had this on their gold box deal for only 29.99. That's half off. I can't be sure of course, but I doubt the game is going to drop to that price as a regular thing by the time I get a PS4, so I figured I'd grab it now. Great price for something that will no doubt stay 60 bucks at most stores for a while.

Here in the UK after about 3 months all games are down to around £20 which is about half price apart from the odd thing like CoD. How long does it take in the US for something to drop that much as a regular thing and not an offer?

At the moment, it's mainly because it's a next-gen game. PS3 and 360 games drop in price quick, sure, but so far I rarely see any drop in PS4 or XBOne games.

Having seen and heard a fair bit more about the game now, I fully recognize it's not exactly the crowning achievement of the whole series. There's a lot about it that, even just hearing about it, I'm really not a fan of.
But it's one of those things where I'm invested enough in the series itself, that I still feel the need to play the weaker entries as well. The original game, for example, is easily the choppiest, stiffest in the series in practically all ways possible, but I still occasionally play through it as a refresher in the story, and to experience again how the series has evolved. And AC3 was easily the biggest disappointment for me in terms of story and characters, but I'm gearing up to play it again very soon anyway for the same reasons as the first.
Unity looks like a big mixed bag to me, but at least Ubisoft seem to be working like mad to patch the technical problems at the moment. So whenever I get around to it, I certainly won't be getting some of the other disappointments that so many people were experiencing.

Even though I like the game, I'd still throw out the advisory that the series gets much, much better after the first game.
Just throwing that out there.
