Thats a big their fault, kind of thing. In reality you should be testing games for EA and making 40,000$ a year to start. The reason they cut back so hard, and fire so often has to do with giving higher ups more money which gets earned on reports that are practically false. Since lots of companies keep doing "salary" dumps the way Activision does.

Some of that is true, but i can say with certainty that a lot of that list at the bottom is fake, some of those games will likely be shown in some form but mostly as tech demos plus I can tell you red dead 2 and the next gta aren't far enough along yet, maybe things will change in 2 months time, right now they're not in a shape to be showing off.

Before wii was shown Nintendo was talking about not needing a TV to play it and had ideas to project images. However obviously that idea for wii was dropped in favour of motion. I guess Cafe is what they originally had in mind for wii.

It's official:

http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/pdf/2011/110425_4e.pdf

- No Kid Icarus: Uprising until after summer
- Nintendo interesting is adding more platforms to the eShop in addition to Game Boy/Game Boy Color
- Excitebike (3D Classic) apparently will be offered in Japan for free
- Nintendo still working on Wii Vitality Sensor
- Challenge with the sensor is that its easy to make it work for 80% of people, but difficult to make to make it work for 99%
- Nintendo needs other companies to succeed on the 3DS
- Nintendo still planning their own titles around third-party games
- Made decision on Wii successor announcement because of logistics for getting people to E3
- Nintendo still wants a surprise at E3 with their new console
- Iwata admitted that Nintendo has relied to much on its own, won’t do everything on their own from here on out
- Expect to see something about the above at E3
- Iwata: 3DS not meeting expectations following second week of sales
- Iwata believes the earthquake in Japan had an impact on sales, but isn’t the only factor
- European/US sales lower than expected
- Nintendo “need to make efforts” to improve sales
- Pokemon Black/White has sold more than previous versions globally in the same time frame
- More talk of Nintendo saying that Project Cafe is a new concept/structure for a console
- Nintendo will still be pushing the Wii
- Nintendo releasing one Wii title every month to push the console’s performance
- Nintendo realizes they must provide incentive for people to use StreetPass/system updates
- Because of this, free content such as classic games will be offered
- Nintendo feels that gaming is better with buttons, so you won’t see a machine without them
- Nintendo will accommodate social networking services in games, but won’t see Nintendo games on non-Nintendo hardware

-Tentative release date of June 2012.
-Controller screen resolution of 800x500.
-Can play games, watch movies, and more without turning on the TV by just streaming them to the controllers. Can stream to multiple controllers at once.
-Each controller acts a terminal, with the console doing all of the calculations to reduce latency, controller cost, and bandwidth requirements.

Yeah saw that. Cool. Not to be negative but it didn't seem any different than visuals of current systems. Either way be great if they were on board.

it was all realtime with no frame drops like the ue3, or loss of input like mt framework, and better yet it can do effects without ragdoll physics of Havok. I think we'll see a lot of these engines being reworked.

also its meant for current gen.

That looked awesome, liked how they threw in the Star Ocean 3 and 4 figures. It looked like a cross between Star Ocean and Resonance of Fate, it actually really caught my eye. But I dont think its an actual game :(

Nah, its just a tech demo, basically showing off what we can expect in the future, it's basically a retooling of the infinite Engine which was used on Star Ocean 4, Resonance of Fate and Infinite Undiscovery (for which the engine was named)

I think they figured the engine had some issues and decided to iron them out. Its a whole lot smoother then even RoF.

ofcourse its an old study, so the xbox numbers went down a bit, the ps3 numbers went up a bit and the Wii numbers stood about the same. Even so, I think its safe to say flash memory is more reliable (because it generates less heat, which is a good thing when you've got a motherboard you can fry an egg on)
