Didn't get into Morrowind but liked Oblivion. Bought Skyrim off GoD when offer and just not got into it yet.

Only having a few character models and voice takes me out of it as well.

I got right into Oblivion, too. Think I preferred it actually, but the menu systems and map of Skyrim were lightyears ahead. Henry is correct also, the storylines aren't great. It bothers me that you don't play a character, either, you basically play "you", a lifeless avatar of your choosing in the game world.
I'm not even sure how I got so hopelessly addicted to them, but I did, just poured countless hours into those games.

It ain't steam punk, but post apocalyptic. So it still does it for me. Definitely get involved though. I'm sure you can pick up Fallout 3 for a song now, and it's a banging experience. That moment when you first step out of the vault is *boom ting*

People who didn't like Skyrim really should get Witcher 2. While I could not fully get into the game myself as I m used to the other side of the RPG genre. What I do know is it has a good story and the combat is pretty good. Geralt the main character is actually pretty cool and it does have multiple story choices like other western RPG's. If they want a huge world well it has that as well. Seems like a much more polished game. I had one glitch or I think it was. Was walking in the woods trying to find my way back to town and a few big spiders showed up and I was ready to fight but when I turned around to fight them they were just gone. Was weird. It's also on Gog if you don;t have a 360 for 20$.

That said Bethseda is not the only one who get's away with bugs. Ubisoft and Assassins Creed series get's a pass as well.

I do love this guy. Perhaps this video could fit in that Heavy Rain topic that's currently active (despite that game not being mentioned), or even a topic of it's own. But frankly he's basically reading my mind, is 100% correct and there's no reason to debate it. Because he's right. And I'm right. 100%.
