I used to do that. Man, no time for that anymore. Fun times.

The only good thing about being unemployed - max free time available.

BOSS SURVIVAL on HARD is pretty damn hard in MGS2, lol. The Harrier fight is just crazy in this mode. Plus, I can't even imagine taking down all of the Tengus since in this mode the player is alone. This is going to take a while... :-o

Prove it. Hard nosed proof. FIlm it. Prove it

Oh my, what a load of crap. It really shows that you are stuck in the previous generation. Trophies vary from game to game. There are shitty games like The Terminator: Salvation that give you trophies for turning the game on, but there also those that require true skills. Trophies are just a tool and as such they are neither good or bad per se - it's all up to the creators how they use them. MGS HD Collection features awesome silver and golden trophies because they really push you to finish MGS2, MGS3 and MGS: PW LIKE A BOSS. A platinum trophy in MGS HD Collection is a proof of mastering the game.

Really?

In MGS2, they're pretty good. The aiming is easier since you have the option of using FPS. Running and running is easier, I think. If you're having issues with stealth, like going up against a wall real fast, then you might still have issues with that since its about the same.

They never feel amazing (from what I remember) but they certainly get better.

MGS controls are great as far as I'm concerned.

It's not like they were tweaking what was introduced in MGS1 - they've just added new stuff, and it always worked wonderfully.

You have an extremely precise control over your character and there's no cheating with "smart" upping the player moves and/or "forgiveable" physics that most new games have (which are numbing the players all over the world). You have to be precise, do exactly what is need - mistakes will cost you (unless you play on easy where you can just do whatever the fuck you like since you're practically invincible in that mode). It's the Japanese school of gaming at its finest.

Dorian Prove it or lose it.

Words are nothing. Film it prove it. The more you don't prove it and go on with words the more you prove you aint got shit.

Your words don't make any sense. I've acquired trophies for overcoming hard as fuck challenges so leave the rock under which you're living and open your eyes to the current generation of gaming to understand that you don't get them just for playing the game. You obviously have no empirical idea how trophies work.

I don't care about em. Do it the old fashioned way that can't be questioned in any way. Film it. Do it the same way Twin Galaxies does. I won't stop til you do.

You don't care about things that you don't have. You're just ignorant, as always.

I don't need to have a youtube video showing that I've beaten NGS2 since I have a trophy for that and my scores for beating all Ultimate Ninja mission are on PSN servers. It's as legit as it gets.

Now you are getting desperate for arguments and making lame accusations. "ignorant" well of that were true just be the pot calling the kettle black.

Again prove it. But I see you can't film it like Twin Galaxies. So you're all bark.

Then why the fuck is there not a walk option?!!?!!?!!?!!? Where you can inch up behind someone, or around a corner and not be making any noise while i am at it. I want to be precise, but when i tap left on the d-pad, Snake moves about a foot. Combine this with them im stealthly walking along a wall, but the camera decides to change, thus altering the direction i am pushing in, which then makes Snake bolt out from the wall. Also standing below a camera is its blind spot? Bollox to that!

You do know that you act like an idiot about this, don't you? The only reason I won't film anything like that is because I have no means to do it. But it's not important for PS3 and X360 games since I have trophies for that and everybody who isn't stuck in the previous generation understands that getting platinum trophy in something like NGS2 means that you had to master the game. There are no cheats for that, no "downloaded" saves or anything like that. I also don't need to film my VF skills because I've had people from all over the world playing with me over XBL and I know my worth.

It's nice living in the digital age after all.

I've beaten MGS1 on HARD with RADAR OFF last week and I've only had a slight problem in the armoury because of the guards spotting me. I really don't know what's your problem. I think you should simply study the movement of the Genome Soldiers better. You don't need to walk on your toes if you know when to approach the enemy.

As soon as I'll get to the NES NG games. I don't know if I'll be able to get in on video, though. My webcam can't register such complex stuff and it would take many attempts to make a run without many continues. Games like that take a lot of memorizing which can be done only by retries. Speaking of which, it's great that BOSS SURVIVAL in MGS games shows the oldschool spirit so much. Taking down all of the bosses one after another with no saving or continue is really challenging, although this only applies to the HARD difficulty since on EASY and MEDIUM you take so little damage and there's so much healing opportunities that it's just a picnic. HARD in MGS2 seems almost crazy, though - the difficulty bar jumps up like mad.

You can walk using the d-pad in MGS3 but that's cause walking is necessary in that game. In MGS1, there's no real need to walk as long as you're not on noisy surfaces. MGS2 they can hear you, I think, but the AI is more advanced in MGS3 so walking is a must.
