It's pretty much pick up wherever you like, but I believe Contracts is set between two of the middle to late levels on Blood Money.

You can pretty much just start wherever. All you need to know is that 47 is an international assassin who was created in a lab to be the ultimate killer. He finds out about it, kills his makers, now works freelance.
There really isn't anything that carries over story-wise besides that.

Yeah he gets shot after the opera level in Blood money which is where Contracts starts.

Hope they come up with an ending on par with Blood moneys which i still think was really good.

the ending was outstanding. i was browsing through the hitman forums after i beat it and was shocked how many people actually thought 47 died. although it took me a few play throughs to realize that diana used the "fake death serum" on 47 when she gave him that shot. i just assumed he was that bad ass lol

I guessed something was up when she kissed him and then as soon as the controller started to vibrate with the heart beat i knew what was happening and it was kick arse! Allways feel sorry for the guy at the front to 47s left as he allways dies first with a shot to the head

well i knew you could bring 47 "back to life" and finish the game, but it just took me a few times to realize why he could come "back to life"

Supposed to be possible covers [seems odd they would be deciding this now] But just incase i would take the top one!

As you can tell the official name was not decided at this point if these are real

Top one is best but not saying much. The other two look to cliche .

Yeah was not trying to sound like bashing it. They can't do much more but I just hope it's not the middle one. So many games with the back to us it fills the walls. Top or bottom would be fine.

Top one is fine as it is with the bottom it would probably need to add something to the backgroun or have black like the top.

Some game details...

- They were impressed by both the graphics and the music.
- There's a system called Instinct, which costs "energy", which is is reloaded by Hitman actions like taking out somebody silently. Instinct gives 47 certain abilities, like a sort of X-ray vision, highlighting interactable objects or nearby guards and their patrol routes for a short moment or to get nearer to people without them noticing your disguise. This is to help players new to the series to act like an actual hitman. In higher difficulties these abilities are taken away from the player, so he has to play it as in the previous games.
- 47 is not a Prince of Persia, but did become more agile.
- The story will be more important than in previous games and there will be more of a Film Noir atmosphere.
- 47 can improvise more. He strangled someone with a cable that was lying around for example.
- The shooting mechanics have been improved and there now is a cover system. The journalists guess that Instinct might provide a Slow-motion mode.

I don't mind a good expansion of his combat abilities. That was always one thing he seemed to be missing before, some level of hand-to-hand combat skill. You'd think an assassin like him would have that, but it's taken them this long to implement it.
Also, a cover system might seem like such a "me too!" thing to add, but when you really think about it, that signals good things. Probably means 47 isn't quite as much of a bullet sponge this time, so there might be more challenge and incentive in trying to stay hidden/low-key.
And the visual style looks excellent as well.
Really want this one.

Yeah i dont mind hand to hand combat or wall cover. Aslong as its still has multi ways to kill the target ill be fine. And the stuff to make is more accessible only works on the easy setting which ill never use.
