Ok, the ni no kuni demo was awesome. Battle system seems pretty impressive too, kinda wish that oliver and the monster you are using didnt share the same health though, but maybe later in the game you get ones that dont. Still battles seem like they will get addicting real fast. Wish I had the money at that time to buy the wizards edition. I finally found out from namco store online that when you use paypal to pre-order you do indeed have to pay the entire amount in full. Ugh... bullshit. They said they wouldnt re-enstate either of my now canceled pre-orders either :( I am actually a bit disappointed about this, ah well guess i missed it. wonder what the ebay prices will eventually look like.

Kinda glad I can't get the Wizard edition anymore. I don't need to be dropping $100 dollars x_x. (I would surely be tempted to.) I played some of the demo but it turned out to be timed and kicked me out as I got to the town. That's fine though. I saw enough to be sold on it. (Not that I wasn't beforehand.)

Who knows when I'll buy it though...

I just hope it sells well as it's a big risk for Level 5

I hope for the best but realistically it probably wont go over 500,000. That should be enough to turn profit though.

How much did TLS end up selling in America? Ni No Kuni could possibly do more than that.

VGAchartz is very unreliable. It's basically a giant guess. They don;t actually track sales.

More of a risk for Namco Bandai, really.
Level5's work is done. They've made the game, it's out in Japan. They can start in on whatever they're doing next.
The localization and western distribution of it comes down to Namco, so it's their risk now.

Well, they're getting my 100 dollars.
A lot of other peoples' 100 dollars as well. I think they'll do just fine. The Ninostarter site was tracking numbers of preorders before they stopped updating it. If I'm not mistaken, I think they were all for the Wizard's Edition.
So yeah, even if the actual number of units sold isn't that high, they'll still be making a pretty good mint.

So I look at the wizards edition today on the namco store, now under the $99.99 it says "Maximum order quantity: 1" but still no where to add it into your cart. I swear they are fucking with me... TAKE MY FUCKING MONEY NAMCO BANDAI!!!!
