Peace Walker bought its 40. I still think that is also a great game, but getting a 40 with the former president so prominently featured? I wonder. I think if any games of the Ryu Ga Gotoku series deserved a 40, I say it should be the second game.

I love the second game, it's probably my favorite of the series. it's actually hard to choose between them. I've played them all recently, and every games story is amazing.
The only gripe i have with the series is completely forgetting some old characters. I know they probably want to make the game more accessible to those who haven't played the earlier games, but Kazuma could at least mention the likes of Shinji, Reina and Karou in passing occasionally.

It's a shame we still haven't heard anything on Yakuza 5. i was thinking of importing it, but after reading what RyoHazuki84 said about how text heavy it is, its probably not worth it.

It is text heavy and VERY, VERY dialog heavy. If you are studying Japanese and want to use the game to study, I say this game is perfect because you are learning dialects and culture of different areas of Japan. I have been to Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, and of course Tokyo, and the areas are simulated pretty accurately except I say the real life Kabuki-cho is much more lively and the touts who are likely to pick fights with you are Nigerians as opposed to Japanese lol.

But yes, this new game really takes the series to a whole new creative direction but despite that, I do not think this game will entierely inherit what Shenmue did to pave way for it. If anything Shenmue 2 deserves the perfect 40 as opposed to Ryu Ga Gotoku 5. The only games of the series I have yet to play are Kenzan, Of the End, and the Kurohyo games on PSP.

These days, it seems like you cannot turn on the TV in Japan without seeing her. Her name is Mitsu Dan. She’s currently Japan’s biggest sex symbol, appearing in racy TV shows and even racier movies and photo spreads. But before rocketing to fame last fall, she was just another pin-up model, and her biggest role was in a PS3 exclusive. But she wasn’t yet Mitsu Dan.

I encourage you to web search images of Mitsu Dan. Like, now. Don't let the Yakuza scary, weird looking hostess give you second thoughts.

Dan Mitsu's sexiness levels are far too high to be contained in the 3D world. She looks like her father could be King K. Rool from Donkey Kong in that screenshot.

Thats a great video for showing new footage we haven't seen before, but the thing I cannot stand with shows like that is either the person playing is terrible at the game, thus not showing a great representation, or they simply have no idea what they're talking about when playing!

I really hope OL does more Yakuza reviews in the future, saying that..

Here's one I watched about a month ago. Strangely (or unfortunately) it's played and narrated by the same two guys who made the 'Big in Japan' video recently.
