Is playing with Japanese voices really that much of a deal killer for you?

Preload is available for US users. The game won't be playable until Tuesday..

The game is 22GB and it took me 4 hours to download FFVII which was only 4GB. Sadly we don't get the pre download option in the UK so this is looking life a Wednesday game for me.

I thought I'd freed up a bunch of space a while back, but I guess not. Had to go through and delete any non-necessary game data just now (trying hard not to delete anything containing major DLC; who's to say when that stuff willl just disappear from availability? Gotta hold on to it). God that takes forever on the PS3... I've gotten too used to the PS4's functionality, where you can just check the box for multiple items and delete stuff simultaneously. The PS3, it's one at a time, while it struggles to identify the size of different files...
Anyway, downloading now. Thanks for the heads-up.
I was hoping to get some work done during December after I'd finished up the current stuff I'm playing, but I guess that's getting put off a bit longer...

Set up automatic update for around mid-afternoon when the Store updates, and buy the game from the Web store. This should buy you a couple of hours download time. I'm doing the same since I'll be at work all day..

Oh shit, just got a shipping confirmation for my Battles Without Honor and Humanity bluray boxset. Supposed to be here tomorrow.
That AND Yakuza 5 in the same day?
Hallelujah.

Oh my god yes! I think the store normally updates around lunchtime so I thought I had no hope of playing it tomorrow. I was moaning at work today about how tired I was and that I was going straight to bed when I get home but that plans gone out the window. The thing is how do you make a woman understand guys I need some help here:

Downloading now. Had to manually search for it and there was two Yakuza 5's but only one gave you the option to download. 730 minutes remaining...

When I search it only the non purchasable one appears. When I try to purchase it through the app it doesn't work either :^)

When you search for it scroll down to the bottom past the top results and it's somewhere below.

I searched all the results but it wasn't appearing at all. It just did now though under the non purchasable link for Y5.

I've been waiting for this moment for so long. Too bad I won't get to play it until tonight.
