I am so hyped, this game and Shenmue were my favourites growing up. I backed the Outcast Reboot HD Kickstarter which unfortunately didn't reach its funding goal, so this more than makes up for it

Kindled_One, the problems you talk about don't just lie with PC games. GTA IV ran like ass since day one, PC and console. Frame rate drops, bad texture mapping, horrible pop in, the works. Both of Rockstars recent PC releases (Max Payne 3, GTA V) have been the definitive versions of both. All the bells and whistles you could hope for in a PC releases and ran silky smooth. Manhunt is a 13 year old game that runs fine even on Windows 10. If it didn't, its 13 years old and wasn't designed for a modern OS. Half the people commenting negatively on Steam are most likely running out of date drivers and wouldn't know how to run a VM for an older game anyway. The other half are the people who list their specs, says the games run like ass and crash frequently, yet they don't even meet the minimum requirements. Bad releases plague consoles just as much as PC. Except on PC you aren't at the mercy of the developers. Look how many games go unfixed on consoles. On PC if the developers don't fix it, you can bet your ass someone in the community will.
