Could be cool to have some co-op so long as its not forced. I'm actually pretty interested in the Vita/3ds game, wonder if they'll show some of it soon.

That was Tim Drake Robin, this should be Dick Grayson Robin. He appeared as a silent playable character for challenge maps only. Big deal for Batman fans.

I know but what I'm saying is MP will still be seen as the bigger new feature by most playing the game. I would like Robin to be apart of the main game or maybe a 2nd story mode that's designed especially for co op?
The little cameos he has in City and the Harley DLC annoyed me and i don't bother with the challenge maps.

Originally, the game was to include a 'storm indicator' where Batman could use the heavy snowstorms to his advantage. This was cut, however, as it negatively impacted the flow of combat.

Another feature left on the cutting room floor was a robot drone that would hunt Batman during predator mode sequences. This was later abandoned as it "broke the richness of the predator room, which is in giving the player the power to play the way they want".

Arkham Origins plays exactly like Arkham City, with an overhauled Detective mode and a new gadget upgrade progression tree. It also reveals that WB Montreal consider Legends of the Dark Knight their "single most inspirational piece of media". They also reckon they've created "the coolest version of Deathstroke", describing him as "a wonderful counterpart to Batman".

Senior producer Ben Mattes told GamesMaster that WB Montreal won't discuss all the story details before the game ships, but did reveal that Batman and Captain Gordon meet for the first time during the events of Arkham Origins.

I like the sound of Deathstroke, the fact that they're building him up as a "counterpart" to Batman. As soon as I saw the first image with him in it, that's exactly what I was hoping for.
For some reason I've always loved the concept of closely-matched, similarly-abled rivals; Sabertooth & Wolverine, Kazuma & Ryuji Goda, Solid Snake & Liquid Snake, Rikimaru & Onikage.
Batman villains are usually more of the wits-matching type (if they aren't mutants or monsters at least, like Clayface or Croc), so it's always great having him up against someone he can go toe-to-toe with on a physical, human level. Hoping in this case it'll add up to some kind of epic-as-hell one-on-one battle. I eat that kind of stuff up.

I remember the issue (think it was in Identity Crisis) when Deathstroke stabbed the Flash. Pure win. Loved the first issue of his New 52 series n'all. Just when you think they're taking him down some some Blade Trinity-style path, he bitch slaps the idea like the fucking viking he is (yeah, been watchin a lot of robbaz videos recently)

Batman: Arkham Origins developer Warner Bros Montreal is in the market for somebody who knows literally everything there is to know about next generation consoles, in what could be a hint that Origins will appear on Xbox 720 and PS4.

"WBIE Montreal, a new division on WB Games Inc., seeks a Creative Director to work with its game development team," the listing reads. "This team will be responsible for expanding the DC Comics universe in the interactive space." The right candidate will be an "expert in next-generation AAA action/adventure games". Case closed? Or does Warner have another DC project on the boil for upcoming hardware?
