According to this website,It costs Sony $159.10 (£102.90) to make a vita.

The 3DS had the exact price tag as the vita,sold less than expected.Price tag was cut and it started to get more sales.If it worked for Nintendo I don't see why It won't work for Sony.May not be the exact results but I could still see similar sales.

Price cut+holiday season=$$$ maybe?
Sure the chances of that happening are next to none but who knows.Sony has also started making a cost reduction vita according to this article that was posted back in August.

Honestly, Microsoft and Xbox isnt much further behind Sony, its not like MS has turned a profit from being in the console business since the original xbox. The only difference between the 2 is MS is backed by an almost bottomless pit of money in their vaults, where as sony is basically a sinking ship now. PS3 and 360 are neck and neck, with a slight advantage towards the 360. Maybe sony should pull out from the handheld market, the PS3 has sold fine collectively, it cant save the entire company, Sony is simply too big and offers too many products, but thats part of the problem. Sony, as a company might not even exist between now and the next decade at this rate. but I agree with Ryudo, bring back sega consoles if Sony does sink. I think the games industry would benefit greatly from their return, IF they could be as innovative as they have always been known for, use their IPs to the full advantage, and most importantly MAKE SHENMUE 3!

MS is motherfucking rich as fuck. 70 billion (only Apple has more) and they rack in money from Windows like mad. They will never drop the console market.

I wasnt really saying they would drop the console market, im just saying both of them dont make much or anything from being in it at this point. But yeah MS has alot more money to throw around, so they can do whatever. Plus they have other products that sell like hot cakes and turn profit.

Err, Microsoft can drop once the XBOX doesn't seem to be churning much of a profit in the near or foreseeable future. No company, no matter how rich, doesn't want to drop tons of money on something that doesn't at least see a return in like a 1-5 years span (I think 5 is stretching it).

I accidentally got spoiled on the ending to LA NOIRE. Ending made me mad so now don't want to finish.

I think part of my reason in buying it back in the day was it being the first game I ever played with 720p support.

God I hate how any sound smell or anything I can make a comparison or associate it with something else. When getting a normal item in Nier that sound to me sounds like a note from Silent Hill song or at least the film.

Holmes just shot himself in the head. WTF? I know he blatantly isn't dead (especially considering there's an achievement titled "Lazarus") but this story's gettin more and more random by the minute. The payoff better be fuckin worth it...
