Picked up Arkham Origins and Killer is Dead in the Game epic sale and downloaded Two Brothers which was on offer on XBL.

Killer is Dead was my biggest surprise of 2013 and ended up being my GOTY for consoles. Really fun game (extremely short, though the challenge missions are excellent).

I'm definitely interested in Two Brothers, since Starbreeze have yet to let me down. It looked like a fresh, original adventure game, which is a really neat and new direction for them to go in. Hope it's good.

Hitman Absolution.

After a gamefly coupon, it came out to $2 including shipping.

Looks like it's going to be free for Playstation Plus members sometime this month. I liked the demo well enough. May check that one out.
Bioshock Infinite is also going to be on there. Since I (ridiculously) still haven't tried it, I guess I'll be downloading that one too.

Had to pick this up, probably one of the best games on WIIU right now.

^Oh, was just going to post that I just got that too. Going to finish Eternal Punishment and Soul Hackers off this weekend and then dive into it. Hopefully it lives up to the hype.

I already had Dishonored, but had only played about an hour and a half into it before. I liked what I played, of course, but I just wasn't in the mood for a slow-paced stealth game for a while, so it went mostly untouched.
Playing Thief II at the moment has reignited the mood for that exact thing, however, so I went out and picked up the goty version of this (at the excellent sale price of 24 bucks, no less). Kind of excited to get back into it.
I'll just trade my old copy and use it toward Dark Souls 2 and Blazblue: Chronophantasma.

When it comes to gaming magazines, there are two in particular that are very special to me:

Image

My original copy withered away so years later I bought two copies. Unfortunately, were lost in a flood when I left them at a friend's place. I just bought this one and have my eyes on a duplicate that comes with a poster.

I dunno, I have very fond memories reading through this magazine. It had an in-depth strategies for Mario 64, Doom, Tekken 2, and more games. But I think the sneak peek of Wild 9 is what I remember fondly the most, it contains artwork that cannot be found online. I have a real special affinity toward the game even though it's not that great. I just love the characters and the world they inhabit, I would love to get my hands on it one day.

It also has a sneak peek of Neverhood, even though it's only two pages. Plus the novelty of it being a bite-sized magazine was something I really enjoyed. Too bad it never caught on and they discontinued the format after this issue.

The only other magazine i'm hunting for is this one:

It's harder to find for some reason, but it had a sneak peek of Star Fox 64 (even had a flipbook on the corner) and a great article showcasing the ill-fated N64DD. Thing that stood out to me was the big article on the Mission Impossible game and on the other page was a tiny article on Goldeneye 64, which I found funny years later since they thought Mission Impossible was going to be the more successful game.

I'll still keep searching...

You know it's not expensive at all on ebay, right? Just looked it up, and the game can actually be bought new for around 20 bucks. Strategy guide is only about 10 (I mention it because it might have artwork and whatnot).

I mean the rights to the entire franchise.

Though I do have the game too.
