It's like you countered and shot down any argument for that system/way of doing things before I even mentioned it (today)! ;-)

^ I'm fine with going to other consoles but they could have at least released the Wii U version now and PS3/360 in fall. At least give Wii U owners something to enjoy before everyone else, however as it stands and sure tis is the same for many people. Ubi Soft gave me one less reason to get a Wii U.

Well theres a lot of layers to it.

It was designed specifically as a two screen game, so they have to actually redesign a whole chunk of the game to actually be able to work on 1 (hence its taking 6 months). So unless they're changing the WiiU version it'll actually play differently from the 360/PS3 (inevitable 3DS/Vita/PC) versions.

Like you said the WiiU version getting held is fucking DUMB. It was just about to come out in like 2 or 3 weeks.

Finally, they're releasing in September. I don't see Mittz, WRC, or most people are going to pass up GTAV for a 60$ platfomer thats 4 hours long. Especially if they don't announce PS4/Durango versions then thats another reason for people to not buy it.

Just seems like a really big waste. I'm not so much mad that its getting ported (its like Dead Rising on Wii, yea port it I'm still playing the better 360 version) its waiting a bunch of months to play an overpriced game that I might have actually bought if it came out this month.

Not surprised its multi but thought they would do the norm and announce it a couple months after. And that date? Like the last it wont sell till its about 75% off. Brafucking'o Ubi #-o

I belong to two NFL forums anfd they are talking of the Xbox used games thing. They are not happy and this is the typical CoD Madden crowd.

So chances of that Bayonetta 2 deal not being all we was told and the game goes multi as well? Sega still own the IP and would not be the first game to be published by 1 console maker only to appear on another.

Depends on the deal itself. Nintendo published NG3:RE but thats being ported, but if Nintendo is footing the bill on development they likely secured complete exclusivity (a la Demons Souls)

Didn't MS foot the ME1 bill or some of it?

Could be a loan deal like the GTAIV DLC but of course the only way will know is a few years from now.

Well it was 4 years until the series hit Ps3 so they got some good mileage out of it. Look at Tales of Vesperia.

^ still wish we would have gotten the PS3 version of that, funny how the Tales series sort of shifted over to PS3. Wait, no it isnt because Xbox doesnt sell well at all in japan.

Heard the shipping times for Gamefly are really shit, sometimes taking up to two weeks for a single game to be delivered. Not to mention issues with lost games in the mail (possibly getting stolen during transit) and making customers pay for the bill even if they shipped it out properly.

It'll be a damn shame if I get the same issues since I already added 13 more games to the queue. Wish Redbox had a bigger library of games.

Gamefly probably figures time spent in transit is time they aren't having to dole out more games, reducing the amount of mail traffic they're paying for. The fact that they don't go 1st rate like Netflix saves them even more.

Makes me wonder what the average time span customers spend on their games before returning. I would assume they'd take their time before shipping them back unless their userbase consist mostly of people like me, trying to rush and finish the same in a single day. Two days tops.
