Maybe that can put to rest some of my worries that TT were spreading themselves to thin.
How is it in terms of performance? Rough as per norm or are they polishing them a bit more?

There was a lot of lag in a couple of parts, always when the action segments kick in. It usually settles but I hope this is something they'll fix in the later chapters.

OMG, the first episode of this new season is AWESOME!

If I had to complain about one thing, I felt like it went by too fast. But hot damn, the fellas over at Telltale seriously still have it. The drama was AMAZINGLY executed and the decisions are still as tough as ever. I seriously can't wait for the rest of the episodes to be released.

Nice. I will definitely have to get this soon.

Currently playing the 400 Days DLC, quite like the bite-size chapters, but I think I've made a shit decision that'll carry over...

Its pretty great AG, you shouldn't delay in playing it. It will definitely keep you busy.

I really don't like the story so far and I really hate the stats/team system because I feel it makes things too needlessly complicated (the help menus don't help at all).

If this was a spin-off title like Metal Gear Ac!d then I'd be okay with it, but the fact it ties into the main story really puts me off.

It may as well be a spinoff. It ties to the main story, sure, but then so does Portable Ops, and that was inconsequential enough to be left out of the HD collection.
I thought PW was a really solid game on PSP. Hard as feck to control, but that came down to the system limitations. I'm actually really looking forward to playing it on the HD collection eventually. Never felt too burdened by the extra elements in the original, so it should be fine for me. Just like the rest of the games, it has its own elements that individualize it in some way, and I was never really bothered by them.
