Especially when I'm broke as shit and can't really afford to buy new games right now. I'm still finding ways to enjoy New Leaf, and I've been playing it since late 2013 lol.

Granted, it's mainly because I still know people who play New Leaf so we talk about it a lot and visit each others towns and stuff.

I just played through the first few minutes of Dragon Quest V on DS. This game may be too old school for me, i hear there are instances where you have to talk to every person in a village to advance, or just other tedious methods of trying to get the next part of the game. I'll keep going with it for a little while at least until I feel out what I really think of it.

edit - well the first 4 hours of Dragon Quest V went by like nothing, interesting first dungeon, a haunted house. I think the story should kick in a bit more soon, good/fun stuff so far im into it now.

Black Closet (PC) - you play as the president of the Student Council at a private all girls school. This involves investigating cases with the other members of the student council to prevent scandals that will harm the school's reputation. Each girl excels at different things, one has good social skills, so is good at questioning people, one is good at intimidation, so is good at holding students in detention until they crack and confess their misdeeds, one is good at stealth, so they can sneak into student's rooms to search for evidence.

A playthrough can be done in around three hours, but each girl has their own path, so there is some replay value.

Also playing Okamiden on the DS. Chibi is probably the most adorable protagonist in a video game, especially with the way he seems to want to befriend everyone.

i'm trying to like this game, can't get a feel for the controls, and missing the targets like a blind man in a pissing contest! the story pushes me... (but for how long?! will i fold the disk in two, or 'pink floyd' the console out the goddamn window, or eventually adapt and get to see it all?! time will tell, more weed makes it likely... )

Playing Super Mario RPG. I haven't played it in YEARS, and going back to it, honestly, it still as fun, beautiful and brilliant as it ever was. This game is a great example of making a game more streamlined without being dumb too. Must play for everyone, not only RPG fans in my opinion.

Just wish Nintendo would use Mallow and Geno more. They're great characters but it's a crime how underused they are.

Wanna see something really cool? Check out this two part series on Yakuza locations in real life. The dude went through lots of the iconic places. It's very interesting, and only makes me want to go to Japan even more.
