I'm just going to admit it, ZombiU is alittle too scary for me. no such thing as "safe" in that game, ever. I lost like 4 survivors in my safehouse because there was a zombie horde attacking it. I am on my way to do some recon at Buckingham Palace but the cricket bat is becoming less useful (since there are now exploding zombies) and when you use a gun all those motherfuckers know where you are. Plus you don't wanna carry around more then 2 clips anyway in case you get into a situation with an alarm or something. Its one of the few games I've ever played thats truly a survival horror.

...time to go do AC3 again.

^^Maybe not to quite the same extent, but my first playthrough of Silent Hill 4 was a bit like that (nowhere seemed safe, I mean). I accidentally let the apartment get haunted all over the place (didn't know what I was doing) so there was an even bigger sense of dread everywhere I went.

I beat Brotherhood yesterday. I would say I liked it a more than II, which is saying a lot. Pretty much did everything outside of multiplayer I could except I don't care to grab all those damn Borgia flags.

I'm thinking Jak 3 next. Perhaps.

Haha, yeah I noticed the kanji when I saw Dorian playing it. Gotta say my head is spinning after reading all that goobly gook from the demo..

Played through it last night. I really liked most of it, but some changes felt a little odd (such as the way it goes directly to battle now, but still has to black out to return to exploration gameplay).
Either way, the fighting feels more fluid than it ever has before, and I absolutely love all the new combat animations for Kazuma (it all just feels even stronger now). It's also got the most painful-looking Heat move I've ever seen, with Kazuma grabbing a guy's head and literally scraping it across the pavement. Ouch.
The new city he was in will probably be great once everything is opened up in it, and the graphics actually are noticeably better in many cases (looking at NPC's up close makes it most evident). Though -- it has to be said -- the river water effects looked pretty bad. It's nothing game-affecting of course, but the water looked about PS2-quality, which is strange with a whole new graphics engine and everything.
Still, ought to be a fucking amazing game once we can actually understand it all (the cutscenes just drag if you don't know what's being said; had that same problem when I played the Yakuza 4 demo way back).

I'm finding Sonic R is plagued with bugs. How is it for you?

Haha for a sec thought you meant Sonic R on Saturn. nah not noticed anything. However not taken it online. Well scratch that on a couple occasions when I am about to be in first place in hard mode or expert (which yes I suck at) racers a ways behind me all the sudden 6 of them pass me up last second. Not sure if that's a bug or cheap AI.

I've not played online yet. (Sorry Ryo911!!!) I'm finding a few times when I hit invisible walls, get stuck in walls, fail to transform, or just lose a drift or straight fall off the level. The amount of swearing that goes on playing this game sometimes..

Really enjoying Jak 3 so far. I love it, more than the 2nd and I like it just as much as the first so far.
