Free XBLA game for Gold Members

Playing mostly Monster Hunter Tri as of late.
It's fantastic.
Without a doubt the best Capcom game I played that was released in the timeline of this generation.
Joining a dedicated party of 4 and bringing down a Royal Ludroth online is so challenging, so fun and so satisfying.
Can't wait to progress more into the game.

Picked up the 'RADNET Limited Edition' Prototype 2 pre-owned for PS3, cost me £10. As some may know, I finished the original the other week on 360. Liked it quite a lot, got that cheap too for £8. Having a lot of luck with pre-owned games, thus far. Not just good prices. If you remember, I bought GoldenEye for PS3 pre-owned, and one of the DLC codes hadn't been redeemed.

Get this - On my used 'RADNET Limited Edition' Prototype 2, none of the DLC had been redeemed! I got all the pre-order incentives and everything! All this on top of the pretty limited edition box. Might just be me, but I think they look lovely on PS3. I now have Prototype 2 and Just Cause 2 with pretty embossed carboard sleeves. I liked the first one quite a bit, and wanted more. Knowing there was a sequel, I thought I'd get it. I decided to get it on PS3, since that's apparently the better version.

It's a much-improved game. This is how sequels should be. Graphics are probably twice as good, the gameplay is refined, more powers. MOAR, basically. The storyline is a pile of wank and just gets in the way of the carnage, that's my only real criticism. The feeling of being a super-human being in this one is fantastic, and the little control-annoyances of the original are gone. You're more powerful than in the first game, and wielding that power has been made easier.

Not much else to say. If you like sandbox/open-world games of the GTA-flavour, and you can get it cheap, give Prototype 2 a whirl! Don't even bother with the first one, the storyline is shit and unimportant anyway. If you can get the Limited Edition cheap with all the downloads.. definitely get it!

Or it's nothing to do with the developer, and is just old and therefore cheap. Still, £10 for the limited edition with all the DLC content isn't bad at all, old game or not.

Beat DMC HD in 4 days, about 20 hours. Just on Normal. Really enjoyed it a lot! I am even going to post a review for it I think.

I am going to play Jak and Daxter HD next I think.

I finished Alpha Protocol recently. I had a lot of fun with it. Despite its reputation for glitches, I only ran across a single minor bug my entire play-through.

I've been tryin to play Shenmue II-X, but the disc's fucked n keeps blue-screenin and Xbox notification erroring me every ten to thirty minutes. Fuckin piss take. Don't suppose anyone's willin to lend me their copy?

MS had already given up putting them on the market place at that point. Sadly i think now the few that are up are 800MSP rather than the stupid 1200MSP MS tried to get in the first place.
