Finished Dark Souls 3 a few days ago and i would be playing Uncharted 4 now, but these days i have no free time and i'll be busy until at least the middle of July...so no gaming until then.

Uncharted 4 is fucking brilliant.
A number of hours in, and I still haven't legitimately hit much in the way of gunfights, but the pacing, storytelling, and easter eggs are keeping me smiling like a motherfucker. Can't wait to play more. Which... eh, screw it, I'll do right now.

Easily one of the best "recent" games I've played. I wish they would announce the damn sequel already.

Lately I've been getting my ass kicked in Hotline Miami 2. The first one was pretty tough too, but I breezed through it in less than two days. With 2, it seems like every level takes me a good 20+ tries before I pass it.

Ace Combat 4: Distant Thunder (PS2) - My first Ace Combat game experience. Really into it. The world view isn't too far from the likes of Armored Core and Front Mission in its presentation. The music is a nice bonus too.

Star Fox 0 (Wii U) - Game is great fun. It's taking me a while to get to these gyro controls but I'm really feeling it. It's a great thing to still get high quality rail shooters in 2016 like this.

^I played about 5-6 levels of Star Fox and the controls just frustrated me. It wasn't that they was too hard to use but it would feel so much better with just a normal controller. I know Nintendo made a whole console around the Gamepad but at this point they're jumping ship and abandoning the WiiU so why still try to convince people this is a fun way to play?

Since then I've moved onto Uncharted 4. I'm only on Chapter 13 but this game is fucking amazing. It's probably the best looking game I have ever seen and there has been plenty of times I've just stopped to look at how pretty it is. There is also a kick ass action sequence which is possibly one of the best pieces of action in a video game ever.

I'm on the Uncharted 4 bandwagon too.

At chapter 8 at the moment. It plays like the rest of them but for some reason I'm really having a good time with it despite that. It really benefits being on the PS4, it feels more cinematic because of the enhanced graphics facelift and 60fps frame rate.

I must confess I haven't really followed the development, or watched trailers of Uncharted 4. I do enjoy the series, but find it to be very samey, and a bit dumbed down in the puzzle department. That said, they are decent games and the storytelling is one of the stronger points of the series. Have Naughty Dog made any significant changes to this one, or have they just stuck to the same formula that everyone but me seems to lap up?

Currently playing Yakuza 4, after having beaten the first three. Don't know what took me so long to discover this series.

It's really the same shit with little differences here and there. There's a really cool Easter Egg early on I thought was great.

It's not impressive like Uncharted 2 or even 3 was, which is a bit surprising.

The fact that it utilizes a legitimate stealth system this time is a pretty huge change. Same with the slightly more "open" environments that crop up here and there. And the grappling hook is ridiculously fun. Best swinging mechanics and physics I've ever played.
It's really a game made for big fans of the earlier games. There are easter eggs, sure, but more importantly the game provides a genuinely good wrap-up for its main characters, which is a rare thing to come across. I almost never see endings to long-standing series that truly feel satisfyingly over and done with, but this one absolutely nails it, and also adds new depth to the events that have come before.
