I think it's brilliant that people think that if Sega were to revive a franchise then the game would be shit, i'm not saying that is the case but what if it were Shenmue III, would that be shit?

I don't think that it will be that Golden Compass thing. Why would they release it first in Japan if it's a Hollywood movie? Plus that even the European Sega site has information already about this movie tie-in.

If made by Sonic Team, yes. AM2 hav the rights for the game though, and they made VF5 which has turned out really well, so they may still have it. NiGHTS, thankfully is owned by Yuji Naka though, in his own little company away from Sonic Team, so it may be good, who knows?
