I absolutely love all this. Theres 3 Metal Gear games that all look amazing and different from each other with one of them releasing in Feb. Plus 2 Castlevania games that I'm interested in.

I also just noticed, (maybe I'm reading too much into this) but Liquid was raised in the UK and has one arm (since, you know it got the chop when Ocelot needed it) So a guy that looks like snake that gots one arm in a hospital in the UK could be Liquid.

Then again Big boss came back from the dead 4 times so whats to say between Metal Gear 2 and MGS4 he didn't just grow another one.

I'm pretty sure Liquid is missing his right arm and in the trailer for Metal Gear 5 he's missing his left. I could be remembering wrong but I don't think I am.

Hmm I don't know. Every way I try to think of sounds silly to me, also for some reason... I have the gut feeling that the person in the trailer is Solid Snake. I don't know how or why... but that's what I think.

It'll probably end up being another clone in the future... or something though.

if kojima made mgs3 using a fox engine & a ps3/next gen, do you the sorrow boss mission would of been in a stream with some floating dead people? -- nah, i think he would of made something which would make us freak out, like that shown in the phantom pain

Why such secrecy over a whored out franchise? It's not like people waited 15 years for a sequel.

Its not really secrecy. kojima is a master of buzz, he gets people as hype as possible.

And after it's release people complain about it then when the next comes they get ll hyped again. Almost a former Sonic Cycle. Well ok they didn't complain about 3.

you know I don't really get the sonic cycle either but I wasn't disappointed by Metal Gear solid 4, actually I've gone through beginning to end about 6 times now, its like one of the games I've played most this gen.

Not a fan of the portable games tho.
