Either way, an HD-upgrade of XII would be amazing. Whether it could just be seen as more brand-whoring by Square or not, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

That would be the perfect opportunity for them to port over FF12 international Zodiac Job System to the west AND have it all in HD? Do want. Speaking of FFXII I was at a friends house a few weeks ago and he was playing FFXII on his 60GB PS3 on his HDTV... my god it looked like a PS1 game with how choppy it was. I know it would look amazing in HD.

Sadly it did, it had a major case of the jaggies, they were everywhere. It reminded me of FF9 or something.

Final Fantasy Bran dwas exclusive to NES and SNES then at a public event Square showed this for Nintendo 64

Media was hyped, fans were hyped then Square pulled the rug from under everyone and went Sony. Square had some issues with Nintendo's then boss and did not put another FF game on a Nintendo system again until Iwata took over.

We would have gotten them just with compressed music and no CGI cutscenes. I'm glad on PSone they went PSone. If FF was still any good I would be glad they went multiplat.

^I'm not sure that a 64mb cartridge could handle all the pre rendered backgrounds either, they looked pretty pretty big for their time
