Review The Last Game You Beat

Puzzle Quest: 9/10

There was a surprising amount of content and variations on the puzzle formula. I'd estimate it took me over 30 hours to beat. For $10 this has to be the best value on xbla, especially when you factor in the online portion.

Beyond Good and Evil: 8.0

It was a pretty short game for an adventure game. Took be about 12 hours to beat and I even got all the pearls and pictures.

Gameplay is pretty simple but enjoyable. The stealth aspects were a bit too basic.

The story was ok, it didn't get too interesting to me until the ending sequence.

They created a pretty interesting game universe, which I always appreciate

I can totally see the sequel coming together to be totally awesome though. I feel like I've read people say BG&E is a total masterpiece, but I don't quite agree though it's a good game. Looking forward to seeing the sequel at e3.

Kameo 7.5/10

It's a really imaginative game but the controls aren't too great. I didn't like how the attacks were all mapped to the triggers, and some required you to press both at once. I think some of the attacks should have been assigned to the buttons, and the d-pad should have been used to switch between characters. I didn't have too much of a problem actually moving the characters though, some people really exaggerated the control problems. The problems exist but it's definitely playable.

Also, I felt the game didn't really come together until after you get all of the elemental warriors. I started to really see what the game could do, but then of course it ended.

They had some cool moments, when they had the war going on in the badlands it felt pretty epic. The game was not though, took me about 8 hours (though I didn't do any exploration). I would really dig a sequel, I think a few small improvements could make the game that much better, as well as if they made it about a 15-20 hour game.

No More Heroes - 7/10

Not a bad game at all... Nice storyline, fun combat... the city parts were awful though. Very repetitive and monotonous. On the other hand, the ending was brilliant.

I last beat Sherlock Holmes Vs. Jack The Ripper.

I give it a 8.0/10. Very fun. The only thing I didn't like was the ending because you aren't actually able to determine who the Ripper is until the very end. You basically get misled through the whole game. Maybe thats a good thing though.
