Last Game/System/Peripheral You Bought

At this point I'd probably only want to play NTSC Super Nintendo games for games I actually still want to play. PAL might dampen the experience due to the way they are formatted for the region. I'd keep the PAL copies for posterity more than anything else, but that's just me. :)

Yeah I totally agree, I think in future I'll invest in some EverDrive type products that allow you to load ROM onto SD cards and play them on the original hardware, saves me having to open boxes etc too.

Two fun games and at those prices, quite the steal!

My copy of Gun Hazard just came in the mail yesterday. Nice bit of work here. I think the cartridge itself is completely new (it's a darker-color plastic than regular SNES carts). And it plays perfectly. Felt amazing playing that Cybernator style of gameplay on an SNES pad again.
Gonna have a great time playing through this sometime soon.

I'd like one of those. No idea if they do them over here too, but I'd buy a copy myself. The SNES had some real overlooked gems.

^Never played that one. How does it stack up to the other games in the series?

Anyway, here's my latest purchases:

This game is pure nihilism:

Many thanks to NIS America for bringing this one to Europe:

Battle system is pseudo real time Strategy (Growlanser style with free move) meets rhythm based battles. Also has elements of Knights in the Nightmare (bullet dodging, flashy psychedelic colouring). And the story is pretty good, very reminiscent of the likes of Nier and Pandora's Tower; sick sister needs cure [this seems to be the new trope to replace "find the artifact to save the world"]. There's a good deal of political intrigue as well, though. Overall, very impressed with this purchase.
