Never understood that personally, but too each his own. I can appreciate he's bought some decent games there too :)

Sort of. I started out buying older games that I wanted to re-play now I pick up retro stuff here and there.

Sonikku wrote:I'm guessing the gray FF7 sleeve is a greatest hits copy that you disdained?

It is, I have a black label version already though, this was just a bonus. I actually have a few of these games already but the condition and price made buying them a no-brainer for me.

Sonikku wrote:As for Tekken 3, watch out for that one. I picked that one up when it fell to $20 back in the day (mostly playing as Jin) and someone I knew just about stopped being friends with me after several bouts. It got to the point where speaking of the game got to be taboo.

Haha, I really like the first 3 games, I actually have Jin's devil mark as a tattoo on my arm, this version I bought is pretty strange, it has multi-lingual text on the back, I think it must have been a general PAL release.

Tekken 3 was actually the first game I ever imported from Japan.

Love those regular CD cases.

It's a bit of a stange thing, I actually do find myself looking out for games I don't have, even if I don't intend to play them. That may change in the future though, I may very well come to a point where I only keep the games I really treasure, I'm not sure.

I think you are downplaying it a bit there. "Here and there"

Bambi. You are a full out collector now.

Found a gaming thrift store in town called Infinite Lives. I managed to pick up Starfox Command for $6. I haven't even seen the game in print for at least the past three years so I was glad to snag it when I did, especially for such a low price. They had everything from Super Famicoms to Japanese FF4 and 6 carts.

Krazy Ivan, never played this, vaguely remember it being a Saturn game. What I like about it is that it's a rental copy and I have a sort of mini-collection of those.

Not much to say about these, they were all under £1 and in very good condition, all of those Playstation 2 games look decent too.

I don't have a PSP at the moment but the games themselves looked really cool, especially Breath of Fire III and Tales of Eternia.

I remember seeing Tales of Eternia and BoF III pal versions at an import store years back. Why I didnt pick them up then I dont know, cause I want them now, especially BoF III, so I can have the Physical copies of bof 1-3 in handheld, wish they would have brought bof4 over, that was the prettiest one to me.

I really enjoyed Shellshock on XBox. Shame they turned the follow up into a lame arse FPS.

Look forward to giving it a try then, the price is what attracted me, I got it, Ghost Recon 2 and Need for Speed Underground 2 for 10p each.
