start->skip will be your best friend. Hearing Firion talk about roses makes me want to insert large rectangular objects into my penis sideways.

Aso for my pickups I finall got a physical copy of Fire emblem:Awakening and thanks to a lot of surveys and some public service enough point cards to buy Ken's Rage 2

I'm cursing myself now for mentioning Ken's Rage 2 to my fiance as a possible birthday gift idea for me. I want to indulge myself and import it now, dammit!

I'm trying to finish work before I binge, since I'm going to play it in a corner of my room on the pad till I speak on sony's panel next week.

Also the WiiU DLC is free. Might get Ikachan with the rewards points.

Nah, just being cliché.

Happy to hear that, all the best for the two of you.

The original is still my fav, it's (gothic) charm is unmatched. Modern action games started there, and with a bang.

Finally ordered my first reproduction cart.
Front Mission: Gun Hazard for the SNES.

Timewalk Games seemed like the most trustworthy repro site that I could find (found a number of prominent youtube videos about their work and that kind of thing, so they're obviously legit). Should get to me somewhere between a couple weeks or a month from now.
Pretty damn excited. I've been wanting to play through Gun Hazard for the longest time now. Played the first hour or so on an emulator years ago, and the Assault Suits-style gameplay paired with Square's old talent for 16-bit visuals, sound, and story is just... fucking wondrous.
Along with the SMT games, Terranigma, Clock Tower, Tales of Phantasia, and Seiken Densetsu 3, this was one of the top carts I've always wanted to have made for my SNES. And luckily all of those are available on the site I ordered from, so if this one turns out well, I'll definitely be getting more.

Also just ordered a custom case for my copy of Hagane. I've accepted that I'll very likely never get hold of the original box or manual (manual's up on ebay... for close to 300 bucks), so I may as well get this for safekeeping of the cartridge.

Gonna need to find one for Gun Hazard too, and I remember finding a site with one a while back... but I can't find it now.
Back to searching...

Is that Amano art I see on that front mission cart?

Yep. He was the artist for both the original Front Mission and Front Mission: Gun Hazard.
Some people argue that his "wispy"style isn't fitting of a military-themed giant robot series, but I think that's what makes it so good. It's unexpected, and thus different from what you'd see in any other giant robot games.

Anyone want a stylish RPG done in exactly his style. Like a cel shaded stylized game using his art.
