This is a case where one of those games where the OST is far better than the game itself. Well this was a bad game with a fantastic OST. Forgotten how good it is because the game itself sucks

Only just found out that Daisuke Ishiwatari did the music for Hard Corps Uprising.
That one was digital-only, right?
Just on the sole fact that he did the music, I'm actually tempted to buy the game now. The man is undoubtedly one of my favorite videogame composers. Hard to top all that metal badassery.

IMO IX has the best OST in the main series. Also the most nostalgic.

I think the game is underrated. It may not be the craziest thing gameplay or storywise but it has some emotional moments, like waterside playing when the girl is about to jump off the cliff. I think its the best Dragon Quest game since 8.
